Ivana Vojinović

Ivana Vojinović, MSc is Director of the Centre for Climate Change, Natural Resources and Energy at University of Donja Gorica and Lecturer at the Faculty of Polytechnics at the University of Donja Gorica. She started her working career in 2004 year at the Institute for Strategic Studies and Projections, prominent Think Thank in Montenegro, where she was Senior Analyst for seven years. For ten years (2011-2021) she was Deputy Minister/General Director for Environment in the Government of Montenegro and Head of the negotiating process with the EU in Chapter 27-Environment and Climate Change. During her career, she coordinated and worked on about 70 national and international projects in the area of environment, climate change, economic analysis. She was a Senior Program Officer and Head of Operating Structure for IPA projects, focal point for numerous UN funded projects, regional projects, etc.

In period 2007-2010, she was a lecturer at the Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business (University of Donja Gorica) in two undergraduate courses: Macroeconomics and Entrepreneurship, as well as on the course EU Economic Policy on Postgraduate Studies. In 2013, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Italy, she was awarded the highest recognition that can be awarded to a foreigner, Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia, for outstanding contributions to strengthening bilateral relations in the field of environment between Montenegro and Republic of Italy.

Ivana Vojinović is the author of 29 papers published in domestic and international conference proceedings and journals. Currently, Mrs Vojinović is finalizing PhD thesis in the area of environmental economy.

She is fluent in English, very good in Italian, and with good understanding of French language.
