Graduated Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, Slovak University of Technology. Mrs. Halgašová spent her professional career in various roles in the food sector. She worked in food and beverage companies, as a public food safety officer, and at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, where she participated in lawmaking and EU accession negotiations.
Motivated to advocate better conditions for the Slovak food sector, she spent the years 2005-2017 as the chairwoman of the Food Chamber of Slovakia. Currently, she is the team leader for agriculture in the party Freedom and solidarity.
