Zaza Bibilashvili

Mr. Zaza Bibilashvili is the founder of the Chavchavadze Center, the first civil society organization in Georgia modeled after European political foundations.  The Center is an independent, nonpartisan institution with a vision of transforming Georgia through civic education and spread of critical thinking.

In 2005, Zaza founded BGI, the leading Georgian law firm. Prior to the arrival of BGI, Zaza was a director of Ernst & Young Legal. Before moving to private practice, Zaza worked with the Permanent Mission of Georgia to the United Nations.

Mr. Bibilashvili graduated from Tbilisi State University, Department of International Law and holds a degree in international relations from Canisius College. A founding member of the Georgian Bar Association, the Georgian Richard Wagner Society and a board member of ICC Georgia, Zaza is a frequent speaker at various international fora, and writes frequently for leading Georgian print and online publications.
